The Hungarian Socialist Party (abbreviation "MSZP") is a social democratic party. It was founded in 1989 after the liquidation of the former state party, the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party. 2022 together with five other parties they created the joint opposition "In Unity for Hungary".
